REFERRALS

HOW WE HELP

Trini Recovery Residence serves as transitional living for adult women, who are in the early stages of recovery from substance use disorder. Our goal is to provide residents with the structure and support they need to establish meaningful, substance-free living, and to prepare them for return to independent living in the community. Housing is intended to ease barriers to recovery by providing:

  • Safe spaces and stable housing

  • Environment supportive of long-term recovery

  • Weekly house meetings

  • Resident-driven recovery planning

  • Connection to community resources and recovery services

  • Encouragement to develop a recovery support system in the wider community

RESIDENT CRITERIA & HOUSING GUIDELINES

RECOVERY HOUSE REFERRAL PROCESS

Individuals who wish to live in one of our Recovery Residences must be medically stable before entering the program. Applicants will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, but we recommend 30 days of continuous sobriety. We will work directly with the clinician or case manager to evaluate each resident individually to ensure a seamless transition to sober living.

The applicant screening process involves an online application followed by a phone screening to determine the appropriateness of the residence to meet the client’s needs.

Once the screening process is complete, prospective residents must interview with the current residents to determine if they will be a positive asset to the house. Following the interview, the current residents will decide collectively - the prospective resident will be notified on the day of the interview if accepted and will be able to move in immediately.

To find out more about the screening process or to set up a screening, please contact our Program Director at info@trinifoundation.org or complete the Resident Application linked below.
